I saw on TV the other day that the UK builds the smallest homes in Europe, according to the government’s adviser on architecture.
Apparently, the floor area and room sizes are the smallest in Europe – the average room in a newly built dwelling in France is 26.9 square metres, compared with just 15.8 square metres in the UK. And British new-builds are less than half the size of those in the United States and Australia!
If all this leaves you with a shortage of space and cramped living conditions, don’t forget that you can ease the situation by renting yourself an extra room here at Greenbox!
Clean, dry and very secure rooms in a wide range of sizes are available and they can easily be accessed 7 days a week anytime during our long opening hours.
